フィッシュマーケットのブログで
魚を量り売りで買えるよ、っていう話をしましたが、
この量り売りで買うスタイル、オーストラリアでは結構多いです。
I want to write about the difference of how we buy bananas in Aus and Japan!Lol
例えばスーパー！
フルーツとか野菜とかも、1キロあたりいくら、
とかって書いてることが多い。
ごめんなさい、写真ないかなーと思ったけど見当たらない。。
売り場にちゃんと量りが置いてあります。
When you go to a supermarket in Australia,
they often sell fruits or veggies by weight!
ほんでね、バナナの話をしますと、
オーストラリアでは、スーパーのバナナ売り場に行くと、
一房に15本ぐらいついた、むっちゃでっかいバナナ、
まんま置いてあるんですね。
And speaking of bananas,
when you go to buy some bananas at the supermarket in Aus,
you would see the big bunch with about 15 bananas
which looks like its just picked and sent strait away to the super market!
誰がこんなにバナナばっかり食べるねん！って、
バナナ食べたかったのに最初買えませんでした。。笑
海外ってなんでもビッグサイズなイメージがあったから、
バナナもそうなんやと何の疑いもなく諦めてました。。。
When I first saw it,
I was like who is able to eat all this many of bananas...!Lol
I can't buy any bananas unless I share them with somebody else..!
Then I gave up buying bananas.
が！結論！！
バナナは自分の買う分だけちぎっていい！！！
でした笑
最初びっくりした！
だってそんなん、バナナちぎっていいとか思わへんやん？！笑
逆に、売り場のバナナが1本単位でちぎられて置いてるところも見て、
誰や！こんな一本だけちぎって！！て
いたずらやと思ってた(ごめんなさいオージー！)笑
でもしばらくして、
バナナ売り場で出くわした人が、
颯爽と房からちぎってカゴに入れている姿を見て、
え、自分で好きにちぎるスタイルやったん！！ってなった。
むっちゃええやん！笑
日本だと、5本ぐらいが袋に入ったりして売ってますよね。
一本単位で買えるのって、食べきれない量を買わなくていいので、
一人暮らしにとても親切！！笑
店側もメーカーから買い付けてそれをちぎる手間もないし、
お客さんも必要な分だけ買えるし、
いい！笑
I was shocked when I first got to see somebody is tearing one banana apart from the stem!
Wow! I can just grab bananas as many as I want!
I mean I never knew it was ok to take the bananas off the stem with the hands!!
In Japan we can just buy the bunch of bananas that are often wrapped in a bag.
So its NOT ok to tear them apart!
we gotta buy whole bunch of them(usually around 5 bananas in one bag).
ていうことでそれからというもの、
堂々と2、３本だけちぎって買ってました！
よかった。早めに気づいて！笑
せっかくオーストラリア産のバナナたくさんあるのに、
知らんかったらずっとバナナ食べられへんところでしたーー！笑
After I got to know it,
I buy 2-3 bananas, tearing them from a big bunch with no hesitation!Lol
There are many banana farms in Australia,
on the other hand Japan usually import them from somewhere.
I almost couldn't buy any of these fresh bananas which are picked in Australia during my 2 year stay!Lol
Lucky me!Lol
How to buy bananas inAustralia is very kind to the people living by themselves!
I like this style!
あと、量り売りでいうと、
私は他にもマッシュルームとか、
baby spinachっていう
おしゃれなカフェのサラダで出てくるような小さいほうれん草とか、
よくこの量り売りで買ってましたー！
なんでも思い込みは損しますね！笑
コロナで色々と変わってしまってからも感じていますが、
バナナ一つとっても、「普通」なんて存在しないなーと思いますね！
まあ、そういう違いも楽しいですよね！
知らない土地のスーパーはどこに行っても楽しい！

I like these kind of differences even its small thing!
I feel supermarkets have many of them because they have strong connection to peoples life!!
